1. Introduction
Welcome to Fluent Finishes Pty Ltd. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Services
Fluent Finishes Pty Ltd specialises in Venetian plaster and microcement services, including application, maintenance, and consultation. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or withdrawn without notice.

3. Client Obligations
You agree to:
a) Provide accurate and complete information regarding the project requirements.
b) Ensure site readiness, including adequate access, clean surfaces, and suitable conditions for application.
c) Use our services for lawful purposes only.
d) Not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts our services.

4. Payments
Payments for services can be made as follows:
a) A deposit of 5% for contracts valued at $20,000 or more, and up to 10% for contracts valued under $20,000, is required upon acceptance of the contract, in accordance with QBCC regulations.
b) Progress payments will be structured in accordance with QBCC requirements, with staged payments based on the percentage of work completed, as outlined in the contract. A detailed payment schedule will be provided to the client before work commences.
c) Another payment option discussed and agreed upon in writing between the parties.
d) Payments must be made via electronic funds transfer to the Service Provider’s nominated bank account as specified in the issued tax invoice. All amounts payable are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cooling-off Period: In accordance with QBCC regulations, the Client has a statutory 5-business-day cooling-off period for domestic building contracts over $3,300. If the Client terminates the Agreement within this period, the Service Provider will refund fees paid in advance, minus reasonable expenses incurred up to the termination date, as permitted by law.
Refunds are not available where:
a) The Client changes their mind.
b) The Client’s personal or financial circumstances change.
c) The reason for termination is outside of the Service Provider’s control.
d) The Client insists on services being performed in a way that contradicts the Service Provider’s professional advice.
e) Refunds will be processed promptly via:
The original payment method.
A third-party payment provider.
Or as otherwise agreed between the parties.

6. Site Conditions and Liability
The Client acknowledges that:
a) Venetian plaster and microcement require specific environmental conditions for proper application. Any delays or additional work caused by inadequate site conditions may result in extra charges.
b) Variations in colour, texture, and finish are inherent to handcrafted plaster and microcement applications and are not considered defects.
c) The Service Provider is not responsible for damages caused by improper maintenance, external factors, or misuse of the applied surfaces.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Fluent Finishes Pty Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fluent Finishes Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.

9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may revise these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
